This page is for you to post your own encounters with Angels.
I have encountered *many* angels in my life. They always seemed to be near in my time of need: a mechanic, a nurse that appeared from nowhere, someone who came to assist when I was stranded on a lonely deserted road.
I have always believed that God sends Angels when we are in need and I have an amazing story I wish to share. It may seem unbelievable, but it truly happened! |
|
This page is for *you* to please share your stories in the *Special* Angel Guest Book Below.
I am truly looking forward to hearing of your experiences. Some may have seen real Angels while others may have felt a presence or just knew that a Guardian Angel was near.
Please feel free to share whatever you have seen, felt or experienced. All are welcome.
Thank you,
Samantha |

Here is a brief encounter that many will find hard to believe, but is a story that will live with my husband and me forever. |
|
After the untimely death of our son, I had a very early doctor's appointment in a town about two hours from our home. We left very early and stopped for coffee in a small town. It was a fast food restaurant and the only eatery in the tiny town. |
|
We parked our car, entered the restaurant, and I--still concerned about my tests and still reeling from our 28-year-old son's death--merely wanted to sit down. I walked to a booth and saw no one. My head was down as I slid into the booth. I looked up, and seated in the booth in front of me was a very large, kind-faced man in a Law Enforcement uniform. He smiled so nicely and began to talk to me in a soft voice as though he knew me. I nodded, and he began to speak of Gospel Music and Gospel Music Groups. (Our son was with a Gospel Group.) My husband then sat down, and the man introduced himself to us. He spoke to us about his daughter's death and about God. He brought a peace to us that we had not known since our son's passing. (It had only been a month.) His eyes were so gentle and his voice so quiet. His words were filled with love and a strange understanding of us. How could this be? Well, Georgie knew many people, so this was not unusual. I asked if he knew him, and he answered yes. Our time had come to depart. The gentleman stood--he was a very, very large man--and gave each of us the sweetest Christian hug. |
|
As we left, I saw no one behind the counter. As we drove away, I looked to see if the man was still in the booth. The restaurant was all glass. I did not see him, and no car was present so I assumed he had walked. He had given us the address at his place of work. As we rounded the corner I saw a sign that said.... Restaurant Closed. *What?? Had they just been kind and allowed us in? |
|
Months passed, and at Christmas I decided to send a card and a thank you note to this kind man. A few weeks later I received a letter from his Department.
It read, "You must be mistaken, this man died many years ago--shortly after his daughter's death." I was stunned, and I wept. Perhaps his physical body died but his spiritual body lived on! |
|
I often think of that day and I have no doubt that he was sent to help us understand that death is not the end! I even called the Department and a few people thought I was making a cruel joke when I asked for the gentleman. God *does* send us angels! We know! |
