Methodically, he sets his hat and glances at his shoes. NEXT: "FIREFIGHTERS!" *Great Graphics!*
Then off he goes to do his “thing.” A job that he, did choose.
He’s told there’s someone down the road, who’s asked that he retrieve
the baseball from a neighbors yard. “Pits guard it,” they believe.
He keys the mic, then says,”10-8, and Central soon replies,
“We have a gunman down on Main,” and quickly he complies!
“Hands up and drop the gun,” he yells, you’re going for a ride.”
The perpetrator then is cuffed. “He” takes it all in stride.
“10-4,” it’s been a busy shift, but now it’s time to eat;
He’s been around this town a while and gets a special seat!
Methodically his hat’s removed, his ruffled hair a “mop.”
He now will nap and dream of Dad, “The Very Bestest Cop!”
