So many years,
Did come and go,
And as a family,
They all did grow.

Years of baseball,
Years of fun,
So much enjoyment,
For everyone.

Into adults,
Those two boys grew,
But love as family,
Was always true.

Then came a day,
We can't explain,
When George and Sam,
Were filled with pain.

Their son, Georgie,
Was called from high,
And with the Angels,
He would now fly.

And at those times,
We all do pray,
And ask of God,
Why take him away?

Georgie may have left,
His home on Earth,
But with eternal life,
He found new birth.

Some years later,
It would again,
To fall on Sam,
She'd feel more pain.

Her beloved George,
In bed he lay,
And Sam did nurse him,
Each night and day.

For weeks and months,
She stood beside,
And never left him,
Throughout that ride.

The time had come,
We know not why,
For George to say,
My love, Goodbye.

Look back now,
On years gone past,
How quick they went,
Things seemed so fast.

Georgie and George,
Were together then,
And now they are,
Together again.

In their own way,
You will see they care,
As they prepare a place,
For you to share.

Sam, my friend,
I'll tell you true,
They are both Angels,
Smiling on you.

So always recall,
You were together then,
And one day,
You'll be together again.

Your love for them,
